Glorys Melody Jac

2010 bay mare by NRHA Futurity Champion Mr Melody Jac (NRHA LTE $109,600+; LTE of foals $652,660+) , and out of Easter Leo Glory, a money earning, producing, daughter of Easter Gentleman out of a granddaughter of Major King. NRBC and NRHA nominated. In foal to Starjac Vintage, 2016 stallion by  A Sparkling Vintage out of Starjac Miss, an own daughter of Hollywood Jac 86 out of a daughter of Great Pine, earner of $325,828 and a finalist in all major NRHA events. This will be her first foal.

Glorys Melody Jac is the last own daughter of Mr Melody Jac.  Known to many in the reining industry as “Melody,” the stallion went on to sire 155 money-earners with records just shy of $800,000, according to Equi-Stat. 

Because she naturally travels low headed with her hind end under her, she was very easy to train.

Shown exclusively by Equi-Stat Elite $3 Million Rider Tim McQuay, Mr Melody Jac (Hollywood Jac 86 x Dude’s Bueno Gal x Senor Jessie Day) earned only four checks in the reining pen, but he garnered $112,239 in his abbreviated show career. His final check to post to Equi-Stat was an Open win at the 1989 Lazy E Classic, which paid $8,881.

Mr Melody Jac’s greatest contributions to the industry may still lay ahead. As his offspring continue performing, as well as proving their merit in the breeding shed, the stallion’s bloodlines will carry on into the future.

Easter Leo Glory is a 1990 money earning, producing, sorrel daughter of Easter Gentleman out of granddaughter of Major King. Since AQHA registration papers display three generations, Glory has the legendary "King" on her papers

Though Mr Melody Jac may be gone, his legacy will continue through his sons, daughters, grandsons and granddaughters.
