Colonels lemac cielo

2012 bay mare by Gallo Del Cielo, sire of offspring earning in excess of $5 million, an NRHA $4 million sire, out of Debbie Mac Colonel, a producing daughter of Lemac Goodbar. In foal to Starjac Vintage, 2016 stallion by  A Sparkling Vintage out of Starjac Miss, an own daughter of Hollywood Jac 86 out of a daughter of Great Pine, earner of $325,828 and a finalist in all major NRHA events. 

Rooster’s offspring are still competing today. At the time of his death Rooster had sired 505 money-earning offspring that  earned a total of $5,822,284.

Colonels Lemac Cielo took a year off from training to  have a filly by Steppin On Sparks. Unfortunately the filly died as a yearling. Cielo is a beautiful mare,  extremely athletic and good minded. She is easy to work with, wants to please, and is a huge stopper. She is NRHA and NRBC nominated.

Rooster is ranked among the top 25 reining sires of all time. At the time of his death, he was an Equi-Stat Elite $3 Million Reining Sire. His sons and daughters also shined as cow horses, elevating him to Equi-Stat Elite $1 Million Reined Cow Horse Sire status, as well. Including his offspring that excelled as cutters, ranch performers and rodeo mounts, 

Debbie Mac Colonel is by Lemac Goodbar - NCHA/ACHA earnings $73,000+. Twenty offspring with earnings over $100,000 including cutting, reining, and working cowhorse. His offspring have over 200 AQHA Performance points. Multiple offspring awarded Performance ROMs.

Her dam is an NRHA/AQHA money earning, producing daughter of Colonel Freckles out of an own daughter of Doc Dee Bar.

Colonel Freckles - NCHA Open Futurity Champion and leading sire of champions. Doc Dee Bar - AQHA Grand Champion Halter, Superior Pleasure horse, and Leading Sire of AQHA Champions and ROM's.

Though Rooster may be gone, his legacy will continue through his sons, daughters, grandsons and granddaughters. At the time of his death, In the Equi-Stat Lifetime Reining Statistics, he  ranked at No. 17 as a paternal grandsire, with 141 money-earners, and No. 13 as a maternal grandsire, with 78 money-earners. It is just another testament to the quality of the legendary Rooster line.
